Have You Tried the 4 Day Workweek?

I’ve been working since I was 16 years old.
I have no idea whose genius concept it was to create the 5 Day workweek, but it blows.
As a society, we work 5 consecutive days and take 2 off. If you work in an office environment, those two days ‘off’ are usually weekend days spent hustling to do things like grocery shopping, maybe banking, spending time with family, etc.
Weekends are NOT relaxing.
I’ve never been one who likes crowds, so grocery shopping or standing in line at the bank on the weekend has never been something I’m fond of. I avoid it at ALL costs.
Shoot. Leaving the house AT ALL on the weekend frightens me.
But that’s another conversation.
I’ve been an entrepreneur and an employee. Right now I’m an employee again (a temporary circumstance), for a company that considers “full time” to be 28 to 32 hours.
If you think I’m spreading 32 working hours out over 5 days, I’ve got news for you my friend.
At the moment, I’m also working on my ‘exit plan’ and I figured that having that one extra day to help accelerate that plan would be super helpful.
That was an understatement.
