Have You Tried the 4 Day Workweek?

Iāve been working since I was 16 years old.
I have no idea whose genius concept it was to create the 5 Day workweek, but it blows.
As a society, we work 5 consecutive days and take 2 off. If you work in an office environment, those two days āoffā are usually weekend days spent hustling to do things like grocery shopping, maybe banking, spending time with family, etc.
Weekends are NOT relaxing.
Iāve never been one who likes crowds, so grocery shopping or standing in line at the bank on the weekend has never been something Iām fond of. I avoid it at ALL costs.
Shoot. Leaving the house AT ALL on the weekend frightens me.
But thatās another conversation.
Iāve been an entrepreneur and an employee. Right now Iām an employee again (a temporary circumstance), for a company that considers āfull timeā to be 28 to 32 hours.
If you think Iām spreading 32 working hours out over 5 days, Iāve got news for you my friend.
At the moment, Iām also working on my āexit planā and I figured that having that one extra day to help accelerate that plan would be super helpful.
That was an understatement.
