The Secret Life of an Introvert

Is it possible to be alone TOO much?

I think the better question would be, it possible to like being alone too much?

Iā€™m a bit of an introvert.

Thatā€™s a lie. Iā€™m very introverted.

Donā€™t mistake what Iā€™m saying hereā€¦Iā€™m not shy. I just would rather not be around people when I donā€™t have to be.

That said, I do enjoy being with a close group of friends.

And crowds? Nope!

Events like concerts, parades, and stuff like that?

Hell no.

Introverts and extroverts are often viewed in terms of two extreme opposites, but the truth is that most people lie somewhere in the middle.

Introverts tend to be more quiet, reserved, and introspective. Unlike extroverts who get energy from social interaction, introverts have to expend energy in social situations. After being at a party or spending time in a large group of people, introverts often feel a need to ā€œrechargeā€ by spending time alone.

Iā€™ve found that there are absolutely no ā€˜consā€™ to being and living by myself. Only ā€œprosā€.

Iā€™m alone A LOT, and I love it.

Being alone gives me the mental space I need to do whatever the hell I want, when and how I want to. Because I spendā€¦
